Basics of Autodesk Alias 2022

By the end of the course, I felt more confident using Alias for surface modeling and understanding NURBS fundamentals. I would highly recommend this course to anyone starting with Autodesk Alias.

I think these steps learned here are great. Even though I know most of these steps, I think it is always good to hear an experts way of doing things as it teaches you tricks and tips you may have not known before!

They are considering delivering the course videos in other languages ​​using AI.
So far, so good. I'd like the videos to have explanatory audio in Spanish. I think AI could be used to deliver the course in different languages; that would be fantastic for paid courses and a definite plus. I rate the explanation of the course progress as very good. When the Black Friday deals were on, I almost bought the whole package [of MS3D courses], but I stopped myself because the audio was only in English, I think. They should look into the AI ​​option.

It helps to find new ideas and short cuts which can increase the speed of working. Also gets to know about the tools thoroughly.

I am a super beginner with Alias. I am having a lot of trouble following the shortcuts. The Audio should be a lot better. For example, making a line and adding degrees and then selecting Cvs to move is a nightmare for me. Once I draw a line, I can't figure out how to stop drawing lines or select other tools. I would like a simpler explanation of the basics. [ You have to use ChatGPT instead ;) ]

Good course to learn about the basics of alias NURBS.

The course is well explained, with simple examples, easy to follow and focused on the most used functions.

It was so good that I learn everything. In this basic course, I have to say that you if there is a subtitles while making videos it might be very helpful of 1st time learner it is hard to understands UI/UX of Alias.

I am happy with the tutorial. I would suggest subtitles to improve the understanding.

Car design is what I wanted to learn.
Until now this program seems easy to use, but i am sure i will change my mind soon. Trainer is very good.

Good start. Good videos. Well explained, step by step.

Beautiful tutorial and straight to the point.

The course is really usefull and interesting but in my opinion there are 2 little thing that can improved.

1) The audio quality
Unfortunatly the audio quality is not the best. Even though i understood everything from the lessions, often i had to re-lesting a single part few times in order to understasnding clearily what the istructor said.

2) Keyboard window
At the bottom of the videos there is a little window showing the keys that are being used. In one side is very usefull but in the other one the windows doesn't show the mouse keys. In a program where all the mouse key do something is a bit disappinting to not see that.

To sum up the course is really well done but can be better in little things. I will surely continuing with the course and i will watch the others on the platform.

This is a terrific course for beginners. I have been using Alias for a few years, but not consistently and I still learned a lot. Especially in the final class about the fender. It was great to see how many ways there are to create the same thing! Also, thanks for showing how the freeform blend works, and why it is always better to use it than the skin tool. Thank you so much! You are an excellent teacher. Succinct and cover almost everything usefull in each tool.

This first Videos was a good explaination of the very first and important things to know about Alias.

Its teaching me to get use to with this interface. Not describing unneccesary information. So I totally love first two tutorials of this course. Which I didnt find in youtube. And for advice I can say stay active in youtube and make clear how the tutorial system works in ur website. Otherwise people like me will think that ms3d has nothing on youtube. If u dont read the description clearly ofcourse. So make the system of your free course more clear to everyone.

Moh explanations are great. I think he is explaining all bit by bit so we can process and interiorise the use of ALIAS the best way. (Still learning so I don't know how the course will progress). I bought the E-tron Gt course and i started with the basic course from Alias, but this one is very clear, very focus on which tool i will need to model the car and to understand the tool! Loved It.

There are some tips that really solved my problems when I used Alias for the first time, for now, the only thing I see that can be improved is the audio volume in some lessons, is a bit low.

Basic, for further deepening in the studies.
Because I already work with other software, I found Alias a bit bureaucratic at times and more relaxed at other times, but I think it's a matter of habit, little by little, as I start to use it more often, I think it gets easier . But I think the basic course is pretty cool, because it gives me a simple view, so that later we can look for more information to be able to go deeper... now it's time to study and start modeling different objects with different difficulties.
