Hey guys, full story coming soon...
When I took a look at our new student's portfolio, I noticed he is working as a Senior Visual Artist at EDAG as a supplier of BMW. He had learned Catia, Rhino, 3D Max, Maya and even more as a 3D CAD Modeler and had a few years expericence in this role. Following his dream to become a professional automotive designer, he searched for Autodesk Alias courses. Let's review his story saying by himself now:
"In the past 2 years, I was looking for courses for Autodesk Alias in Germany but I didn't find any because all schools in Germany teach Rhino. Anyone who knows Alias has studied in universities and went for an intern training program later. So no schools were available for learning Alias, but there are many Catia and Rhinoceros classes.
I found your academy and another one, called Learning Alias. But to be honest when I reached them, they offered me videos that was already available in YouTube! So it was very disappointing to me. Then I find your academy, MS3D Academy, and you were very very kind to give me the opportunity to learn new things. That's it.
I have to mention that I found some LinkedIn Learning courses that was for Alias 2021 but to be honest Mohammad, your way of teaching specially in Subdivision modeling is very good. Because it was not easy for me to start with that new tools when there are not even any undo! You taught me the new way of working with history of tools and I can work with that now. That's my favor and I really appreciate it and want to continue my learning path with you.
I want to reach a stage to be very professional in Alias modeling and it is one of my top goals. I got my new job now and I study further as I'm in 4th semester. I prepare to launch my YouTube channel to show off my new ideas soon."
He started with Alias 2025 course and completed the basics, although he might have heard of some basic things of Alias following other tutorials. But our basic lessons was looking new and much more understandable to him. After purchasing, he said he will start at 7 am tomorrow morning! After a day, his very first work was under construction:

Mahmoud told me he want to completely learn Alias before his 40s so he has only 1 year and 3 months time! We were in contact at WhatsApp and solved a few probelms together. This is how the first car looks:

Meanwhile, Mahmoud was working on his projects at university so he had to split his time and work like a turbo engine!

In less than a month, he reached something satisfying:

In Alias 2025 course, first we learn basic 3d modeling with subdivision tools and later we deep dive into technical 3d modeling using Alias analysis tools, surface evaluation methods and quality control options. SUBD is mostly for design and create cars that are being used at 3d rendering software and department. by the way, NURBS is for technical surfaces meeting A Class quality standards ready for production at automotive industry.

Solving surface continuity problems is our job, that's one of the most import stages of 3d modeling with 3d software in car design industry.
Mahmoud is continuing his journey, what about you? Have you started? Start today, tomorrow is one year later... read it again :)

Hey guys, this time we review car design and Alias modeling journey of Jadir Ernesto Minutti who had graduated from IAAD. instito d'Arte Applicata e Design at Torino, Italy.
Jadir is one of our students who has followed Audi E-Tron GT Course which is one of our most trending tutorials. He has completed all lessons and get certified, you can see his work screenshots in the course page under reviews section.
It’s actually quite interesting that someone like Jadir E. Minutti, coming from a good academic background at a top university, chose MS3D to continue his journey in car digital design. You might expect a graduate from a top institution like IAAD to rely on formal education. But his decision highlights something important: top rated education builds the foundation, while a specialized platform like MS3D delivers the edge needed in real world practice.
Most students believe academic excellence alone isn’t enough anymore, universities often focus on principles but students need to go beyond general education and dive into highly targeted, design to production skills that design studios and automotive companies actually demand. Let's stick to the bold message: The best professionals aren’t those who stop at formal education... they’re the ones who keep evolving. And that’s exactly what makes his decision so interesting to the community.

Later, he participated in some automotive design projects as an advanced surface designer enjoying his dream, working as a car designer & surface modeler. Found this somewhere in his profile: "Do the best you can until you know better. Then, when you know better, do better.

He had completed Blender car modeling courses at Lumen Design Academy and CG Masters Academy. When he found Alias as the most professional software with better tools and very focused analyzing tools for car body surfaces, he joined MAAD Academy México. By the way, it seems like those courses were not good enough to stop, so he joined MS3D Online Academy as a new student to start the engine.
He has reviewed the course 5/5 as a top rated tutorial. "Amazing course! I love it. Perfect course to level up the skills of Nurbs modeling, Thanks to MS3D!" ~ Jadir Minutti
That's why he has registered and enrolled in different courses released by MS3D Academy later. Audi RSQ8 course, Audi RS3 course, Audi E-Tron GT course and some more were good enough to be choosen by Jadir. Alias Subdivion modeling, Nurbs modeling and 3d rendering are the most valuable skills that a car designer can achieve.

Now its your time to go on a same path and register in MS3D Online Academy. Check our plans and start today.
Best wishes, Mohammad.

Hey guys, I want to tell you the story of David who joined one of our courses and became successful in a few weeks.

David got his masters degree from SPD university in Transportation Design and after following our courses, he is currently working on Alias modeling projects, prototypes, etc. He sent me screenshots of his work in progress and I am very happy to see he is achieving the goal which was his dream before.

After following the course and learning the basics and foundation of Nurbs surfaces, he started working on a classic car exterior body project.
You can watch a screenshot below:

The car that he is working on is a Shelby Cobra with a few changes in design. Let’s call it a facelifted cobra.
Patches looks clean and it seems like the creator of these amazing surfaces followed his tutorials very good!

The Zebra shading shows the quality of surfaces much better:

David mentioned; “The model is not the perfection but I am satisfy. I’ll work on again after the feedback of the client when he will print the parts.”
Many students have joined our courses and stole the show with their progress.
You can be the next one, we support you!
Best wishes, Mohammad.

Hey guys, Another story for today!
I just completely mixed up when Veejay joined my Audi RSQ8 Alias Subdivision Modeling Course, because Veejay is known as an Alias tutors and one of the first online Alias course publishers around the world.

Veejay’s experiences are wonderful. He worked for Ford Motor Company, Jaguar Cars for many years and he is the owner of Kaur Design Solutions LLC.
Having Veejay on board is actually a honor for me and I hope I can help him and other designers and modelers to find their way in automotive subdivision modeling.
Alias Subdivision course is one of the fastest ways to create 3d models from scratch or references. Subdivision modeling became trendy after everyone knew there is a new era for Subd modeling and converting them to Nurbs with only one click!
I have had many students from famous brands like Hyundai and Audi joined this!
I Hope I can have you on board soon, Mohammad.

Hey guys, a story from Hyundai.
This story begins when Head Designer of Hyundai Motor America contacted me and asked for some courses for his designers at Hyundai. I appreciated his offer and thanks God they were all satisfied with the contents.
Mike gained good experiences in automotive industry after starting his career in Honda R&D and Mazda. Then he was working at Hyundai Motor America as a Clay Modeler and CNC Programmer, but after a few years, he felt in love with Alias.
What a romance story come on!

“I think Sub-D modeling is very powerful! It’s a game changer in the creative collaborative process between designers and modelers. I go back and forth between Nurbs and Sub-D modeling. The Alias interface makes it easy to hybrid work in the same environment. Sub-D definitely has a place in the early part of development / design exploration.
My workflow these days is to model in Sub-D’s early in the project to explore design and problem solving with engineers/designers quickly and at some point rebuild in Nurbs when necessary for proper critical data.
As a former clay modeler working in Sub-D’s brings me some of that that satisfying familiar clay modeling style to the digital environment. In a way you can say Sub-D is the digital clay of Alias. But like anything the more you practice something the better you get at it. Understanding how to organize your Sub-D quad flow and modeling approach is key to success in Sub-D. I’m a fan!”

If I were you, I would trust what a professional Alias modeler says!
If you had any questions just message me on info@ms3d.net . Best, Mohammad.

Hey guys, another wonderful story!
I have seen a few render shots from a Concept on the internet and didn’t know who is the designer. After a while I found out the designer, 3d modeler and visualizer of that concept is someone named Murray Sharp.
I wish I could share the renders but he asked me to keep them off line because of copyright infringement.

After a few months, a new user signed up in my Academy and sent me this message:“I am so excited to hear from you.
I’ve been looking for a top level Alias course for ages, and this one looks very promising.
I have scheduled a meeting for tomorrow. I look forward to meeting you.
”Murray had an online meeting with me asking for the best way to learn Sub-D modeling in Alias. I asked about his concept render shots and he replied: “This is an Alias Nurbs model but the modeling alone took me a year, so I am very keen to learn Sub-D to try speed up my workflow!”
Here is a screen shot of his final model:

“The Audi RSQ8 sub-D modelling course has been so helpful.
Being from South Africa it has been difficult to have access to any quality automotive design training, so MS3D courses are invaluable to me. The step by step approach from start to finish is great.
One area I think can be approved is in the beginning of the tutorial to explain a little more about your thinking behind the subd layout. I was following blindly rather than understanding the theory behind it. By the end of the tutorial I understand why you made all your layout decisions but it would’ve been more beneficial to understand that upfront.
Fantastic course, thanks so much!”
Subdivision is trending…. Every car designer need to know how to work with that.
Best, Mohammad.
